Sr. Failure Analysis Engineer(世界500强电源行业,要求英语熟练,能适应出差,欢迎电子/通信行业人才)
OVERALL MISSION / PURPOSE
To create customer satisfaction by managing the “permanent resolution” of product defects found and by the timely “repair” of product that were returned during the warranty period.
And to provide “zero customer down time" for all customers in North and East China area(80+ customers, FY12 USD222min excluding EC)
KEY RESULTS AREAS / DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & TIME SPENT ON THE DUTY
1 Conduct initial / onsite FA that helps FA center to identify the root cause and come up with corrective action(s) in the succeeding FA. (15%)
? Problem analysis and root cause identification with SP, customer, factory team, etc.
? Drive corrective action with relative team to improve quality
2 Act as a primary interface with customers, informing FA progress, presenting FA result, addressing action items, providing quality information or performance measures (25%)
? Review FA/CAR report before sending to customer
? Present FA/CAR report to customer and address for further concerns
? Set up conference call with customer for quality issues
? PCN communication and follow up with customers
3 Timely communication with relative team for customer concerns/quality issues/etc. (25%)
? Feedback customer concerns/quality issues to relative team timely
? Regular communication with relative team for quality monitoring, driving, improvement
? Slides and customer presentatoin at internal BU quality review meetings(calls) & board meetings
? Attend product development Exit Review meetings and make calls on product readiness
4 Develop SP network covering all N&E China, 2hrs response per customer requirement, be proactive and contain line down in customer site( 15%)
? Monitor, manage, devolop SPs to fullfill customer demand with controlled cost
? Use SP to meet 2hrs response per customer requirement and assure no line down in customer site
5 Regular meeting with major customers basing on TBFA, review quality issues and improvements (20%)
? Monthly or quarterly meeting with major customers
? Coordinate customer audit/visit in factories
? Prepare slides and attend customer QBRs
JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY REQUIRED
? Bachelor degree or above at Electronics/Electrical Problem analyzing & solving skills
? 5+ years customer support or related experience in electronics industry
? Power supply knowledge or Electronics background
? People management skills
? Flexible, Optimistic thinking
? Quality know-how
? Communication skills
? Able to work independently
? Fluent communication on both English and mandarin
? Willing to travel
