职位描述
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:
Supervise a team of 8-10 accountants for day-to-day accounting activities, financial controls, and regulatory reporting in support of company's business operation in China
Coordinate accounting management of various business units in China
Understand and comply with local PRC statutory accounting and tax requirements, and global financial policies & procedures. Ensure the company operations are in compliance with PRC government regulations and laws
Monitor normal accounting activities including the transactions of G/L, AR, AP, FA, inventory and etc.
Treasury management including cash in/out management and forecast, foreign currency management and etc
Manage local statutory reports, group financial reports and management reports
Set up and monitor the internal control systems, develop and implement internal control policies & procedures Recommend, supervise and improve the systems of financial and accounting controls and procedures
Cooperate with internal auditors and external auditors for quality, internal control, annual report and tax audits. Manage and maintain relationship with business partners and counter-parties, bankers, auditors , regulators and professional advisors
May assign work to others
Adheres to technical standards
Recommends process improvements
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND COMPETENCY:
This position requires BA or BS and degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and Qualified CPA or equivalent, MBA is preferable.
This position also requires:
Well-versed in China accounting and tax, prior exposure to international accounting standards e.g. US GAAP, and Big 4 Consulting/Auditing firm experience is a plus
Minimum 10 years of hand-on experience in accounting field with at least 5 years management experience
Knowledge in ERP is highly recommended
Strong business acumen with strong analytical and problem solving techniques
Have sound business ethics and consistency among principles, values and behaviors, and adhere to policies and procedures, and be able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine the appropriate action
Demonstrates excellent communication (written and spoken) skills in English and Chinese, and has the ability to effectively interact and communicate with local accounting team, the international offices and business partners
Positive attitude, self-motivated, fast learner and multi-tasking. Able to work independently and under pressure
· Maintains understanding of core areas of organization's technical competence and leverages this to grow the business
· Effectively allocates resources (people and budgets) to achieve results
· Oversees important tactical and strategic functions of the company
· Typically manages a complex functional unit or business unit
· Drives decision-making responsibility to the lowest level possible
