POSITION: RETAIL MANAGER

This position will actively manage retail spreads, dry goods and dairy portfolio in China, Macau and Taiwan. This role will be required to develop and implement strategy to maximise revenues and achieve aggressive growth targets for company's retail business. The role will optimise product ranging/mix, DME and A+P spend and management of company's distributors. This role till be required to identify business opportunities in new product or channels and ensure execution of the new business development.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES and MEASURES

Financial Performance Strategy

• Achieve sales volume targets;
• Achieve CAM target;
• Achieve Brand targets;
• Assist in achieving divisional EBIT target;
• Manage A&P/DME budget for China, Macau and Taiwan

Business Development and Distributor Management

• Work closely with Divisional Brand Manager in Australia to develop new packaging, promotional literature and advertising material for export to ensure it is consistent across markets/countries and legally compliant;
• Recommend and implement relevant market research programs that will drive new sales opportunities in the specified segments;
• Build and maintain relationship and effective communication platforms with key customers/distributors in new and developing markets;
• Leverage Australia/New Zealand infrastructure and product range to grow sales;
• Customer Price and Strategy Management;
• Ensure customer plans and objectives in place for top 5 customers;
• Monthly meeting with key distributors to monitor and achieve targets;
• Ensure Marketing and Promotions strategy developed, implemented and on-budget;
• Monitor and achieve CAM per tonne results and develop strategies to improve;
• Develop plans to grow the dairy offering to allocated markets.

Operational and Cost Management

• Manage overhead costs to budget;
• Assist in regular Sku rationalisation;
• Achieve monthly forecast accuracy targets;
• Achieve DIFOT targets;
• Achieve internal AR targets.

REQUIREMETNS:

• Bachelor or above
• 5 years of Retail & FMCG national KA sales experience;
• Food Knowledge, including nutrition knowledge;
• Strong negotiating and influencing skills;
• Good planning and organising skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Chinese and English.
