Company Profile:
A professional USA company in chemicals (tapes, adhesives etc).


Responsibilities:
1. Provide on-site technical support to rapidly growing Softgoods manufacturing base.
2. Coordinate work with Softgoods market team, globally and regionally, and the Technical Sales Manager, locally, to fully understand and support customer manufacturing processes and applications of Bemis products in the market.
3. Troubleshot problems associated with assignments by proposing innovative solutions.
4. Recommend fabrication methods to help customers use thermoplastic adhesive films in their product line and wherever possible replace alternative adhesives with Group, i.e. liquid glue, thermosets, etc,.
5. Stay informed of different assembly equipment, understand their capabilities and evaluate its possible use in our applications.
6. Prepare documents explaining step by step assembly technique for specific part, outline assembly equipment and techniques used in manufacture of end product.
7. Prepare, make presentations, and train brand and factory personnel on thermoplastic adhesive film properties, assembly techniques and testing.
8. Perform application testing, analyze results and write clear reports outlining findings, make recommendation on best product and processing parameters for the application.
9. Participate, as necessary, in product development and applications projects, working as a technical resource for the project.
10. Some travel required domestically and internationally

Requirements:
1. Bachelors Degree or higher, in technical and/or business discipline.
2. 5+ years of experience in technical services or business development in Softgoods. Exp in apparel / handbag or footwear industry in Asia will be great advantage.
3. Aggressive self-starter with strong results orientation. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
4. Demonstrated creativity and innovation in delivering customer solutions.
5. Willing to travel.
6. Good in Mandarin and English.
