职位描述
Description:
Lead the engineering operation and drive for execution excellence to meet business needs
- Works closely with the manufacturing for implementing technical documents requirements on products to meet quality and delivery requirements & Manufacturing Process Control
- Work closely with QA and Production to run RCCA and disposition non-conforming product or material
- Meet or exceed AOP commitments for key production metrics, coordinate department to support production plan across shifts
- Responsible to new product introduction and new process introduction, review product design and manufacturing operations for compliance with specifications
Continuously improve the process, production and tools and develop the organizational capacity
- Drives a continuous improvement culture by instilling Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology
- Drives a visually managed work environment
- Participate in problem solving activities related to equipment issues
- Ensures disciplined change process is maintained and that process changes are approved by design engineering.
- Supports deployment of Built in Quality, the reduction in quality escapes, Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and Materials Review Board (MRB) utilization for assigned areas of responsibility
Drive the employee engagement and effective communication
- Align and delegate goals to engineers, etc consistent with scope and capacity of processes and people
- Create a work environment conductive to employee morale, motivation, growth and teamwork to accomplish performance objectives
COMMUNICATION
Coordination within the company to realize new parts transition within all cross function team.
Establishing business relationship with external customer and suppliers.
Presents status report to leadership as part of management operating system

Qualifications:
Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
BS degree in Materials Science and Engineering or closely related field. Process engineering degree or manufacturing engineering degree is preferred
5+ years mass production experience in plant
Minimum 2 years experience in related field such as people management, project management
Friction or carbon friction materials experience is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills (general and technical)
Strong leadership with ability to motivate employees
Strong project management and problem solving skills with proper solution
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin Chinese
Knowledge of CNC machine program, MPC and 6 Sigma tools
Knowledge of carbon processing(or chemical/polymer/ metallurgical processing)
Able to design tool and fixture (inspection and manufacturing)
