Our client is an Ireland foreign owner company in mechanical manufacture industry. The company owns advanced production facilities and production lines; and they main focus on product gas stove and gas heating furnace etc. to worldwide.

Job Responsibilities
1. Be responsible for implement manufacturing operations within company policies and procedures in line with the overall business plan – including Production, Supply Chain, and Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, EHS, Human Resources, etc. and work with operations team to develop a factory vision and aggressively pursue this vision while supporting on-going business to achieve targets defective rates
2. Relentless pursuit of the company’s objective - Operating low cost, lean, high value-add manufacturing operation in China; and to achieve outstanding delivery performance of high quality, low cost products;
3. Implement and manage Costs - Labor costs, Manufacturing costs, fixed costs (headcount and capital investments)
4. Direct preparation of forecasts, cost control reports, capital allocation plans, cost estimates, and staffing and facilities requirements forecasts;
5. Formulate and recommend short and long-term growth and development policies and programs that improve the Company’s competitive posture;
6. Provide strong and dynamic leadership to an established team of knowledgeable technical individuals fostering the use of metrics, contemporary operational techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma), and best management practices;
7. Ensure greater efficiencies with labor and raw materials; and Maintain a clean and safe plant; and develop inventory strategy to balance global supply and demand;


Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree or above (prefer in Engineering, Business or a related industry);
2. Over 10 years of working experience in manufacturing operation with at least 5 years on overall management level in a size-able manufacturing organization or a Supervisor role in large–size (preferably in steel and metal components industry);
3. Specific domain expertise in manufacturing operations, production planning, scheduling, inventory control, quality control, and supply chain/procurement;
4. Solid communication, organizational and interpersonal managing skills;
5. Good ability of spoken and written English;
6. Computer literacy and proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
