Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
• As a regional focal person of government project to research, identify, pursue and win government tenders in a specific province.
• Coordinate closely with project teams formed from Health Care product and sales teams to successfully create, submit and execute project bids.
• Engage in proactive project identification and planning, including early acquisition of project intelligence through key government and third party contacts.
• Work with the Government Manager and Zone sales manager to build strong relationships with government agencies involved in tendering through seminars, cooperate projects and other programs.
• Assist in on the ground project logistics and coordination.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in either medical or business field.
• At least 4 years of working experience in the medical industry in either clinical or commercial field, with 2 years in a sales or marketing role.
• Substantial direct experience in government tendering in the medical field; experience in medical equipment tendering preferred, pharmaceutical tendering also acceptable.
• Basic understanding of government protocol; experience interacting with government officials a plus.
• Strong project management and teamwork skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Quick learner, highly resourceful, open minded.
