Requirements:
- Hands-on experience of working during various phases of APQP Process.
- Knowledge of customer specific requirements for the OEMs like FIAT, MARUTI, M&M, VW, etc.
- Knowledge and working experience of steps involved in development of inspection fixture for plastic components
& assembly.
- Knowledge and working experience of concept making of checking fixture as per customer requirement, GD&T,
Tolerance, Assembly requirement, Gap & Flush, etc.
- Knowledge of PPAP and its preparation as per customer requirement.
- Knowledge of quality core tools like PFMEA, CP, SPC, MSA, 8D etc.
- Feedbacks and approvals for tooling / fixture from Customer, Engineering & Manufacturing engineers, as per
program management requirement during the various stages of the development.
- Product feasibility study based on past data available and feedback from program & customer.
- Prediction of Cp, Cpk and tolerances, achievements based on the existing capability & the various processes as
per the product requirements.
- Conducting SPC, MSA and its approval.
- Review and approval for checking fixture at various stages of the development.
- Preferably have knowledge of plastic injection molding process, automotive component assembly related to
vehicle interiors, laser scoring, vibration welding, vacuum forming, electroplating, painting, flocking, etc.
- Basic material knowledge about metals (tool and fixture material), polymer, rubber, resins, fasteners, etc.
- Knowledge about CAD tool.
