Role

The Writer, in collaboration with the Editor and Publisher, works with clients to develop content for all customer-facing marketing messages. Behaving as a journalist within the company, the Writer will have access to SMEs, research, reports, etc., and will be expected to quickly understand business needs, in context of industry trends.

The Writer will craft strategic communications solutions and systems which embody our brand, our products, and drive customer interest and engagement by providing customized messaging and copy based on defined customer segments, shared knowledge of user behavior, and best practice standards.

The ideal candidate is a confident, seasoned copy writer with substantial digital expertise to support and measurably enhance our email programs, social efforts on Webo and Wechat ideation with PR, and brand-building campaigns worldwide.

Expected output is consistently outstanding content for digital campaign elements, outdoor, promotional products, print pieces and more, maintaining one consistent brand voice in all communication.

Responsibilities

· Copywriting for both digital and offline marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, banner advertisements, site content, print and web-branded materials, and social media

· Understanding key customer segmentation across our core businesses

· Delivering world class headlines and copy which drives measurable customer interest

· Collaborating with creative team members and business partners to determine concepts and copy direction of branding and marketing initiatives

· Basic levels of QA on all generated copy

· Helps to craft thought pieces in collaboration with SE SME’s

· Helps to craft internal messaging solutions

· Sharing best practices amongst peers and studios

Qualifications

• Marketing and Creative copy writing

• Concept and brainstorming skills

• Research and data collection

• Excellent organizational skills

• Excellent documentation skills

• Analytical problem solver

• Technical content aptitude

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office

• 5-7 yrs. experience in writing/editing for print publication, direct mail, advertisements, Web-related material, or special projects

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline related to communications (Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, etc…)
