Job Title: Electronic/Electric (E/E) Engineer

Job Introduction:
As an E/E-Engineer you will be responsible for electric and electronic development, especially with an additional
focus on design and test of low level software. To ensure automotive quality standard software will be developed
according to SPICE process model. Our team develops E/E-components and software for all wheel drive systems
and electrical drive systems in the area of new product development, new customer applications and technical
advancement of the product portfolio. You will be part of a global engineering team for complex and integrated
embedded systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Development of reusable and modular software in automotive environment
Design and configuration of SW modules according to internal requirements
Test and documentation of the SW modules
Definition and alignment of interfaces between SW sub-modules
Work with the customer to understand and align product requirements, accordant specifications and
required deliverables
Integration of electric control units (ECU) including global alignment, customer support and troubleshooting
Create technical presentations for internal discussions, management reporting and customer meetings
Ability to manage tough situations within an interdisciplinary and multicultural team

Main qualifications:

Minimum B.S. Degree in computer science, electronics, mechatronics , communication engineering or
similar field (M.S. Degree preferred)
Embedded SW development & testing skills
Advance programming language skills (C/C++/Assembler preferred)
First experience with E/E-architecture/design/test (semiconductors, sensors/actuators)
High social skills as communication, teamwork, motivation, assertiveness and flexibility
Key behavioural traits for success as creativity, innovation, customer focus, solution-based approach
Ability to join discussions and create technical presentations in English language
Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Additional preferable qualifications:

Control design of mechatronics systems
Knowledge or experience in implementing and integrating OEM specific Automotive Vehicle Networks (CAN,
FlexRay and/or LIN) embedded software
User of configuration management software
Experienced in using CAN & LIN based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape
Experience in automotive embedded real-time control system development
