The purposes of this position are:

Philips Innovation Services (PInS) is a global organization within Philips Group Innovation. PInS mission is to provide substantial support to Philips in accelerating innovation and to become a preferred engineering service provider that attracts and develops talented people.
Philips Innovation Services China is a new organization, located in Shanghai, with more than 70 experts in the field of consulting, engineering and other innovation services. PInS China will focus on Philips and its suppliers in the Greater China region.
As Sr Project Manager-NPI Lead:

· You will lead and manage Global Industrial Projects for PInS in areas of Lighting, Consumer Lifestyle and Healthcare. This will involve working with customers during the Product Creation Processes, providing and maintaining Industrial system, providing supports to Industry to produce at targeted lead-time, quality, quantity and costs during the Industrialization processes.

· Lead and manage PInS internal project teams and virtual teams with customers and Suppliers so as to ensure smooth product introduction and transfer operation per project is met as planned. Taking into consideration standardisation and optimisation of Manufacturing processes and Equipments for both Philips factories and contract manufacturers.


Business Environment:
· Globalization and continuous price erosion lead to global sourcing activities and supply base moving to low cost areas
· Time to market is shortening leading a trend of higher-level outsourcing
· Increasing emphasis and importance on sustainability performance and in particular need to ensure supply base as part of total supply chain fully meets company sustainability requirements and goals
· Increased customer focus on TCO and system uptime leading to increased requirements towards product uptime and therefore product quality and reliability.

Reporting Line:

a) Direct Governance:
- Higher hierarchical reporting line: Sr PMO Manager

b) Indirect Governance :
- Indirect Subordinate Reporting Line : Project team members, Lead virtual teams

c) Cooperative Department : Internal Philips customers, Other functions, Suppliers

Key Areas of Responsibility:
(Identify key responsibilities in rough order of importance. Focus on the results that are expected from the job. For each statement, please set out the target in specific area or scope, the expected final results.

· To advise PInS Management on Industrial scenario analysis for new project regards to manufacturability capabilities and allocation.
· To realize the Industrialization process and support Global Project during the PCP/PRP phase within the Product Creation Processes of customer
· To lead a team of Industrial/Test Engineers towards optimized process/test maturity and positive Industrialization
· To support cutomers supply chain optimization activities from inbound logistic to outbound logistic in term of time, cost and quality.
· Manage customers/suppliers Industrial Leaders on Industrialization matters affecting the Quality, Quantity, Cost and Planning.
· To drive towards Industrial breakthroughs on Quality and Cost with the Industrial Architecture team and ensuring customers & Suppliers Process teams are involved.
· To conduct budget forecasting for customers on the Initial Costs and possible Investments required for the project with good justifications made against the sites manufacturing capacity and capability
· To drive cross-functional project team towards smooth production operation during the Industrialization process.
· To ensure Industrial deliverables per customer request, plan site support with Engineers presence at start up, ensure Industrial Documents are delivered and the needed Industrial Maintenance support as an after-care assistance.
· To manage product transfer activities from customers development centers to contract manufacturer by driving cross-functional project team towards smooth production start-up
· Drive supplier quality development programs for the business entity. Spearhead and conclude negotiations of Quality Agreements with suppliers
· Manage top level executive relationships with suppliers: interface with the JQM (Joint Quality Manager)/CEO of the supplier
· Execute supplier reviews as an independent reviewer
· Identify, evaluate, recommend, deploy and execute quality tools to suppliers such as APQP, SQD etc
· Drive 2nd tier supplier improvements
· Establish and execute trainings for suppliers and internal customers
· Develop and deploy processes and tools to ensure, monitor and manage supplier quality such as supplier performance measurement, supplier assessment, supplier audits and SCAR, PPAP etc.
· Plan and lead supplier audits, assessments and supplier performance monitoring
· Lead Supplier assessment teams, release the supplier for defined capability and commodity

Job Requirements & Skills
岗位要求

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 8-12 yrs of relevant experience
Good inter-personal skills
Managing virtual teams
Good understanding of statistical methods, quality tools and methodologies ( QFD, CtQ breakdown, DfSS, SPC, AQP, FMEA, Control Plan)
Six Sigma GB/ BB certification preferred
Highly motivated, action oriented, persistent towards accomplishing tasks and drives for success
Ability to communicate well, oral and written, in English and local language
Sense of urgency
Cross functional skills/ experience and awareness of business requirements
Auditing Skills preferred to posses Lead Auditor certification
Coaching and mentoring skills
