职位描述

Job Responsibilities:
The Brand Portfolio Manager works closely with the Head of Strategic Marketing to build strong portfolio management capabilities in brand marketing at BSH China with the ultimate goal of helping capture market opportunities. He or she ensures consistent delivery of differentiated brand experiences through every consumer touch point with an optimized brand portfolio tailored to the development of the home appliances market in China. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1,Brand strategy concept: Regular review and further development of the China brand portfolio strategy in close alignment with corporate marketing: market segmentation and target group definition, brand positioning and differentiation, and portfolio management.
2,Brand strategy operationalization: Consulting of product areas and marketing communication departments in the implementation of consistent brand strategies across the marketing mix.
3,Business opportunity management: Participation in Business Opportunity Teams in order to ensure consistent brand positioning in the product development process.
4,Brand monitoring: Coordination of brand positioning and performance (e.g. awareness, brand image, user group profile) studies.

Essential Skill Set Required:
1,The incumbent must be a strategic thinker, a confident communicator, an astute user of consumer research, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
2,Strategic thinking. This individual must have a broad vision on how brand portfolio strategy help realize overall business objectives.
3,Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
4,Knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of various quantitative and qualitative research methods on branding and positioning, and the contexts in which they can be used.
5,Candidates must also possess strong communication skills to exert influence. He or she is an attentive listener, a natural presenter, and fluent in both written and spoken English.

Basic Qualifications:
1,Bachelor’s degree or MBA
2,Minimum 5 years of working experience in marketing, with at least 2-3 years in brand management, preferably in the home appliances industry.
