Caterpillar’s Manufacturing Engineer position works both independently and as part of a team to maintain and improve processes and systems used in manufacturing. In addition, Manufacturing Engineers function as a specialist and subject matter expert for technical planning throughout a manufacturing facility.

Required Qualifications:

Develop Mfg information system strategy for continuous operation excellence
?Ensure overall factory system supports operational needs
?Ensure factory system projects are implemented on time and within budget
?Maintain and ensure system related roles and responsibilities are followed
?Ensure factory system project objectives are met
?Project Timeline creation / execution
?Budgeting (Factory system)
?Training (Factory system)
?Single point of contact with IT and system vendors
?Subject Matter Expert for factory systems (Super User)
?Regular updates on status
