Client Background: Our client is a wholly-owned subsidiary of an American international group specialized in flexible packaging used by leading food, consumer products, medical and pharmaceutical companies worldwide with 81 facilities in 12 countries. Client's manufacturing facility has been established since 60s and has becoming one of the Asia's leading company in producing flexible packaging to international standards serving the food and non food industries in the local market of the Greater China and export to its global customers. The new state-of-the-art, purpose built factory in Dongguan has been awarded to several international quality and safety standards employing over 800 people.

Report to CEO

Responsibility:
- Execute materials/products/production quality & technical assurance policy;
- Advice and coach contractors/manufacturing personnel on quality process, safety and standards for achieving clients' product specifications;
- Interface/collaborate with current/potential clients on quality requirements;
- Manage quality aspects of sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers and contracted manufacturers on product quality, environment and safety through effective quality tracking systems;
- Develop effective technical assurance strategies on products manufacturing;
- Present products quality perspective to potential customers and assist customers in quality and production technical issues, design and applications.

Requirement:
- Board exposure of quality assurance in flexible packaging for food and non-food with at least 5 years at management level in multi-national environments;
- Degree or higher in manufacturing and related technical disciplines;
- Proven qualifications in relevant quality standards such as ISO, BRC, GMP, HACCP, etc;
- Strong team player with excellent leadership and coaching skills; creative with ability to work under high volume work and meeting deadline;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and projects management skills;
- Exposure to EHS Policy and Procedures application;
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
