Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for the design and implementation of real time embedded systems following software development life cycle requirements:
• Perform architecture research, sub system analysis, programming, and unit testing.
• Communicate with global team and lead system designer to understand the requirements, and help with the specifications.
• Responsibilities also include proposals, patent applications, and building technology roadmap etc.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in design and development of software engineering experience, preferably in the medical domain
• Rich experiences in C/C++ and C#/.NET programming language.
• Demonstrated experience in HTML 5, Jason, and jQuery (SOA/Cloud Computing experience a plus)
• Knowledgeable and experienced in SOAP or REST Web Service Development
• Ability to create the software related design documents in English.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in global teams are essential.
• Good command of the English language (oral, written)

Desired Characteristics

• Deep understanding of client/server and web based application development and deployment models required.
• Competent in software development processes including design methodologies, design patterns, requirements-driven development, and test-driven development
• Software development life cycle, Agile/Scrum methodology and automated testing experience
• Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as Rational Clearcase
• Know how about applicable standards for medical devices
