The primary function of the position is the mentoring of the MA certification process for explosion protected electrical apparatus and systems for use in underground coal mines.
The apparatus and systems (mostly realized in protection mode “Intrinsic Safety”) already got ATEX or IECEx certificates and have to be adopted to the requirements and regulations of the Chinese coal mining market.
For this purpose it is necessary to learn about the function of the systems, translate / adopt existing documents and drawings, prepare them for presentation to the MA certification authority or generate additional / new documents if required.
The applicant should do all necessary actions to start the MA certification process, stay in contact with the experts and give them the required information. If these information cannot be sourced by himself the applicant will work on this in close cooperation with the corresponding R& D staff.
The willingness also to work on projects for bringing the certified apparatus and systems in the market would be appreciated.
Bachelor or Master degree (or comparable) in electrical / electronic engineering
Skills in mentoring of MA certifications of electrical apparatus for use in coal mines (welcome)
Several years of work experience in this field or in design of explosion proof electrical apparatus
Skills in Microsoft Office
Fluent English
