Role Summary/Purpose

The Verification & Validation Engineering Leader position leads and executes product programs verification and validation with cross-functional team leaders and individuals to meet program required quality, to ensure that new product development is done to right quality.

Essential Responsibilities

- Setting the strategy and direction of the V&V team and driving continuous improvement on systems, products and processes quality
- Functional leadership of the team, including recruitment, team/talent development, skill set improvement, and mentoring
- Resource assignment and prioritization, including headcount and base cost budget for V&V
- Instilling a rigorous approach to target quality for new products and existing products
- Review of system test plan and review test Input documents
- Strong management on design defects for product non conformance
- Leading change through creative solutions to unstructured product and system design issues
- Optimizing team’s participation in all phases of product development
- Supporting existing products within Manufacturing, Sourcing, Service and Supplier Quality Engineering

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Physics or Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years experience as program V&V leader
- 5 years V&V work experience in medical device
- Solid knowledge of varification and validation, and familiar with regulatory
- Result driven, and good leadership to drive team's performance and development
- Fluent English
