Job description:
This role will be a part of the Manufacturing and Sustaining Engineering team.
This position will be responsible for sustaining engineering activity which covers cost reduction, product improvement, strategic planning for obsolete parts, BOM management and DFX activity.
This position is to ensure specific parts used in manufactured products and systems are reliable and effective. The work is involved during the production, development, compliance and design stages of manufacturing, though they may specialize in just one area.
· Realize/incorporate design changes after product release to drive cost, quality and efficiency improvement
· Review and approve components' specification to make sure they meet the product specifications for quality and performance
· Develop system level qualification test plan for component, conduct system level test and provide test report
· Support component qualification build in factory, perform trouble shooting to identify potential system level reliability or quality issue of components under qualification
· Work closely with Development/Test/Quality/Supply Chain and Manufacturing for continuous improvement and optimal cost benefit to the business

Requirements:
· BS in Electrical/Electronics
· 3+ years' experience in manufacturing, development
· Knowledge in computer architecture, system design and manufacturing environment
· Experienced in electrical component qualification
· Skilled in electrical product trouble shooting
· Knowledge and capability to interpret electrical schematics with the intent of design improvement
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Basic software programing capability
· Knowledge in statistical data analysis is preferred
· Good written and verbal English
