Position: Product Engineering Data Analyst

Job Description:

This position will fully support MSCIS PE team in scorecard metric data reporting, and problem solving from problem identification, characterization, root causing, control and monitoring after Corrective action been implemented. It is required to provide precise data query results from data base and statistical analysis results to help better understanding and decision making. This position will also work closely with cross-functional manufacturing teams, and contract manufacturers.

Responsibility:

1. Business scorecard data reporting

o Enable easy access of daily/weekly/monthly data to generate scorecards; via data querying, code programming to increase data visibility;

o Generate SSRS reports based on business need;

o Work with Global BI team to meet PE group data request;

2. Production line fallout/ product quality analysis from statistical analysis perspective

o Work with MPE team in E2E/Subsystem/ErrorCode excursions to find out root cause;

o Gap analysis in different product generations, manufacturing sites and different component suppliers;

o Deep dive in CTQ/CTFs (Critical to Quality/Function) to understand the variations and possible impact;

3. Special builds data analysis

o Yield/Parametric data analysis for decision making;

4. Field return data correlation analysis with factory fall outs;

5. Other Ad-hoc data requests.

Requirements:

-Bachelor or above in engineering field or computer science, Statistics

-Good knowledge about Microsoft SQL Server

-Good SQL programming skills; including data query, stored procedure, generating SSRS reports

-Good data processing skills; including Excel and other statistical tools

-Manufacturing knowledge preferred and good engineering sense

-Ability to work in both individual and team settings

-Good in time management and work prioritizing

-Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin

Desired Experience:

- Experience in SQL Scripting

- Experience in statistical software (JMP preferred)

- Experience in Microsoft Excel/PPT.

-Team work experience with multiple teams.
