The software team in the MACH is looking for a Software Program Manager with passion for innovation, quality, efficiency, and the desire to lead programs globally. You will work in our MACH office in Shenzhen China and be the software project leader able to independently plan, coordinate and implement software programs or a set of features within a larger program.

The software to be developed covers products in two of our categories:

1) Desktop navigation (mice and keyboard)

2) Integrated Communications Experience (Web Cameras and Headsets).



If you are interested in shipping millions of products, multiple software releases a year and are up for the challenge of bridging the gap between two geographic locations, this is the job for you.



Responsibilities will include:

· Definition of the software releases or features

· Project management and release management for features owned by the MACH software team.

· Working closely with PMs in Redmond to report project status, track progress and triage issues.

· Working closely with others functions, Development and Test, both in China R&D (CRD) and Redmond.

· Active participation in reviews of product strategy, specifications, design as well as providing input and feedback to feature teams.

· Initiating, promoting and driving engineering best practices in the MACH software team

· Interfacing with multiple disciplines including Marketing, Product Management, User Assistance, User Research and Interactive Design.




Position Requirements:

? Minimum 5 years' experience in software development, including 1+ years in program management

? Proficiency in the overall product development lifecycle, project management and/or release management

? Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

? Demonstrated technical acumen, good communication skills and a history of technical problem solving skills.

? Demonstrated ability in sustaining healthy cross functional as well as cross group technical relationships.

? Self-starter with the ability to work through ambiguity and works well in a team.

A BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent is required. Travel to Redmond is required.
