BI Development Program Manager(based in Microsoft)

Requirements:

· 3 years of database-related and data warehouse experience in a production environment , including 1+ years in program management

· A BS/MS in computer science, information systems, and engineering and/or equivalent industry experience required.

· Strong database related skills in SQL Server 2005/2008, including OLAP, performance tuning, failover technologies and strategies, SSIS, and SSRS

· Good understanding and troubleshooting knowledge in SQL ETL processing - METAL or other ETL tools

· Good understanding and troubleshooting knowledge in SQL ETL processing - METAL or other ETL tools SQL performance tuning and data analysis.

· SQL performance tuning and data analysis

· T-SQL stored procedure development, analysis, and troubleshooting

· Database implementation, db internals

· Excellent understanding of Microsoft Windows operating system

· A minimum of 2 years of IIS experience in a production environment

· - 2 + years Production Support experience managing enterprise application

· Thorough understanding of service management foundations such as ITIL or MOF

· Ability to analyze live-site issues quickly and possess a thorough understanding of client/server architectures and high-availability clustered environments

· Outstanding customer service/focus skills

· You must possess knowledge in monitoring tools and configuring them, such as MOM/SCOM.

· Demonstrated ability in implementing and supporting multi-tiered, leading edge technology at an enterprise scale.

· Prior practical experience with change control, source control, disaster recovery and backup strategies required

· You must possess strong interpersonal skills, be a critical thinker, with excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to define and follow best practices and business processes.

· Proficiency in the overall product development lifecycle, project management and/or release management

· Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

· Demonstrated technical acumen, good communication skills and a history of technical problem solving skills.

· Demonstrated ability in sustaining healthy cross functional as well as cross group technical relationships.

· Self-starter with the ability to work through ambiguity.

· Travel to Redmond is required.
