职位描述
Position Duty
1. Responsible for all sales activities in the responsible territory or industry.
2. Organize and participate marketing activities, such as seminars, workshop or demo as needed to generate sales leads and qualify them.
3. Provide appropriate technical solutions and quotations to prospective customers to lead to successful closure of sales.
4. Influences preparation and presents technical assistance, consultation and problem solving to customers as necessary. Buildup and consolidate the relationship with design institute.
5. Develop and maintain key account strategies for high profile customers and maintain good relationship with industry opinion leaders.
6. Manage customer satisfaction with all installed customers through effective coordination with Customer Support team.
7. Gather sales and marketing data and submit weekly (plans, expense, forecasts) and monthly reports (Won/Lost orders, Forecasts, Cold Call Activity, Lead Follow-up) on a timely basis.
8. Participate MBR calls and timely report the market conditions that affect the business. These conditions include knowledge of competition, their products, pricing, procedures and personnel
9. Arranges presentation schedule with customer base.
Qualifications:
1. BS degree or above in Mineral separation, Ore dressing or equivalent required. Appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of BS degree.
2. >5 years sales experience selling capital equipment and solution, preferably in the on line analytical instrument market. Appropriate experience in Applications or Customer Support will be considered in lieu of direct sales experience.
3. Preferred plenty of experience & knowledge for slurry and bulk analysis in minerals related industries.
4. Working knowledge of analytical instrument business and slurry & bulk on line analysis. Fluency with personal computers and AutoCAD is also required.
5. Effective interpersonal and listening skills.
6. Self motivated and result focused
7. Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
8. Accurate forecasting ability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Minimum of 10 years experience in product development
? B.S. Degree+ in Engineering
? Experience in the telecommunication industry desired
? Engineering drafting/drawing and Electrical Engineering experience
? Superior knowledge of Manufacturing methods/processes, Engineering test methods, Mechanical Engineering analysis, Materials selection, Principles of MRP II and Cost Factors
? Complete understanding of Quality standards (ISO 9001)
? Expertise in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering principles
? Manage multiple projects and deliver product on time and within budget
? Methodical, organized and detail orientated work habits
? Strong leadership and judgment skills
? Exhibits drive, initiative and follow-up for timely completion of projects or activities
? Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
? Ability to coordinate and interact with others from both inside and outside the company in a leadership and mentor capacity
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Complete the assigned mechanical or electrical design project in a timely manner
2. Develop new and revised products in an efficient manner that stresses time to market, innovation, quality, manufacturability and cost effectiveness as tracked on the engineering status sheets emphasizing use of Product Specifications where applicable.
3. Supervise engineering personnel to maximize their productivity and ensure that they consistently perform their required duties and responsibilities.
4. Stay informed of the company’s strategic goals, business plan, active engineering work and projects in order to achieve peak departmental performance. Support projects internal and external to the engineering department with team involvement, ideas and past experiences to obtain better decisions quicker. Participate in the business planning process as it pertains to departmental and corporate objectives.
5. Team based project management of multiple projects using Gantt charts, engineering status sheets and other tools. Identify issues or obstacles to management as soon as possible that will interfere with timely project completion.
6. Maintain a high level of professional awareness and knowledge and to apply new engineering technologies, management tools and practices to the benefit of the company.
7. Approve, assign and prioritize engineering project requests as appropriate.
8. Ensure efficient completion of development projects for which the Group Leader is directly responsible.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
1. Oversee development of operating procedures and guidelines for the engineering department in order to assure a progressive, thorough and methodical approach to product development.
2. Establish performance measures to allow engineers to gauge their performance and to allow top management to assess departmental efficiency and productivity.
3. Work with human resources to recruit qualified professionals for open positions within the department.
