Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Research Scientist with experience in assay development and plasma / serum analysis of proteins. The successful candidate is able to evaluate complex data and communicate research results. The Research Scientist will be a member of the PK screening team and carry out laboratory work, documentations, and other tasks related to bioanalysis.

Responsibilities
·The Research Scientist is responsible to ensure relevant and timely analytical support to inflammation and haemostasis discovery and development projects. This includes bioanalytical support to pharmacokinetic and efficacy animal studies, and contribution with assay expertise and biological / pharmacological understanding.
·Development, evaluation and optimization of enzyme immunoassays (EIA) and chromogenic assays for novel compounds in biological matrices used to measure activity and/or concentration of new product candidates or relevant biomarkers
·Ensure that all routine analysis of samples are performed and reported according to schedule
·Record and analyze data and approve/release results, and perform troubleshooting
·Planning of daily work and supervision and coaching of technicians
·Write study reports (e.g. ELN), protocols and other documentations in English

Qualifications:

·Ph.D in e.g. Life Science, Biochemistry or Pharmacy with substantial experience in assay development (EIA, chromogenic and enzyme kinetics)
·Good understanding of quantitative analyses and track record for testing proteins in plasma / serum
·Good understanding of inflammation and/or haemostasis biology
·Good understanding of protein chemistry
·Thorough experience with data analysis (e.g. Excell, PRISM software)
·Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task.
·Organized, patient, focused, flexible and be able to follow protocols.
·Efficient interpersonal and communication skills
·Fluently English speaking and writing
