Job purpose

Strategic Buyers are responsible for strategic buying activities at a country / site level. Their main focus is the execution of strategic sourcing projects and the management of key country / site suppliers in accordance with the Annual Category Plans and Category Strategies. They may be involved in country or divisional global projects, as agreed.

The scope of the Strategic Buyer will be dependent upon on the organization in which they are situated. A Strategic Buyer within a Shared Country Procurement Organization / Country Category Organization will be responsible for activity at country level. A Strategic Buyer within Site Procurement will be responsible for activity at site level.


Education:
Bachelor’s degree required at a minimum, Master’s degree preferred; in fields such as business administration, finance, law or a scientific or technical field. Strong preference for CIPS or similar professional qualification.
More than 3 years working experience in event /. hotel / air plane category.
