- For our Healthcare Sector we are looking for the Head of Logistics at the earliest opportunity.
- The Head of Logistic is responsible for developing with Cluster teams strategic initiatives in logistics in the APAC region; countries managing include Japan, China, India, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand; managing and developing project plans with the cluster team, optimizing the network and consistently monitor and improve practices that affect safety, cost, quality, compliance and customer service. Ensure key facilties function to the Global Siemens Norms.

What are my responsibilities?
1. Review, adjust (consolidate), optimize the distribution centre network within the region to support the ongoing needs (compliance, cost, delivery and performance) of the business.
2. Review of strategy, including all current processes, procedures, outsourcing modules, technology, etc., recommending and implementing best-in-class operations.
3. Improved service quality focus, ensure that the voice of the customer is a key driver for change and improvement and that the customer needs are paramount in the minds of the team.
4. Lead the team to embrace change and improvement and strive to deliver results that consistently meet the needs of the business and enhance the integrated supply chain systems business worth and future value.
5. Direct the local Logistics management team to be accountable for each distribution centre's overall performance as it relates to quality, compliance, on time shipments, operational cost.
6. Coordinates with internal/external customers to understand and meet their business requirements, improve customer relations and expedite corrective actions.
7. Collaborate with cross functional partners to assist in achieving performance and financial goals based on direct contact and involvement with the customer; evaluate and recommend best-in-class methodology for communicating customer feedback to Distribution Operations, Customer Service, Supply Planning and QA/RA, etc.
8. Develop a culture that embraces a sense of caring and urgency to provide the best possible customer service experience for customers while also managing customer expectations when challenges do arise.
9. Manage with DCC's capital budgets for the locations -- APAC - Japan, China, India, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
1. Experienced business professional with 15+ years experience in warehousing, logistics and materials management.
2. BSc/(Masters Degree preferred) , logistics, and negotiation management experience.
3. A business executive thoroughly grounded in Asia/ASPAC logistics and business operation.
4. Excellent communication skills both in Chinese and English.
