ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. To work with the China Country Manager to develop and implement the marketing campaigns. The responsibilities may include, but not be limited to developing new marketing programs, creating marketing literature and materials, public relations, advertisement, organizing trade shows, seminars and press conferences.
2. To be responsible planning, directing and coordinating the marketing activities for the products and /or services.
3. To provide support to Sales in terms of product management, public communications, e-marketing and channel management and other supporting activities.
4. To lead the China marketing continuously to be aligned with the company’s strategic goals to achieve peak departmental performance.
5. To maintain a high level of professional awareness and knowledge and to apply new marketing technologies and practices to the benefit of the company.
6. To act as principal contact for inquiries by sales, production, quality and senior management on general status and scheduling of marketing activities.
7. Coordinate marketing priority changes required to respond quickly and effectively to new or changing circumstances and opportunities.
8. Conduct monthly Marketing team meetings to communicate business issues and review progress to business plan.
9. Recommend changes in marketing policy when such changes serve the best interest of the company.
10. Joint efforts with China Country Manager to establish performance measures to allow marketing employees to gauge their own performance and to allow management to assess departmental efficiency and productivity.
11. As marketing champion in Asia Pac, work closely with US marketing department and coordinate the marketing activities in AP region.
12. Support the marketing promotion in the other countries in Asia Pac region when needed, especially Japan and India.

QUALIFICATIONS
? BS/BA in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
? At least 5 years broad marketing expertise
? Superior written and verbal communication skills in English.
? Methodical, organized work habits and project management skills.
? Experience in target marketing, marketing data optimization, market research, product/program development and execution.
? Knowledge of structured cabling or telecommunications industry preferred.
? Proficient in the use of computers (Microsoft preferred)
? Ability to travel and work an extended schedule on an as needed basis
