岗位职责:
Job Title: Design Leader /Senior Engineer
Reports To:Wiring Engineer Manager
Position Focus:Supervise Wiring design &development team activities Scope:
1. Supporting the Program Manager in technical aspects of the project such as timing, APQP, etc.
2. Representing the design team internally and to the customer.
3. Ensuring the use of engineering specifications and procedures for the design team.
4. Co-ordination and tracking of engineering change
5. Supervising all design engineering activities like 3D, 2D, systems,DVP, etc.
6. Provide direction to design engineers on designing FMEA’s
7. Take lead in customer design meetings
8. Highlight potential program risks from Design point of view
9. Will be knowledgeable on customer design requirements eg. design manuals, EED guidelines, SDS.
10. Support cost reduction activities Initiate cost reduction activities for his/her responsible wiring design program.
11. Control engineering documents and process
12. Act as interlocutor between design engineering & manufacturing
13. Take lead on design reviews for each build phase
14. Assure design targets from all points of view
Education:
1. To be aware of customer design requirements e.g. design manual, SDS etc.
2. Understanding of harness components (connectors, terminals, wire specifications)
3. Good English skill of communication both written and oral
4. The knowledge of how to read technical drawings.
5. Knowledge of harness routing and its physical requirements.
6. Knowledge of harness architecture & system design requirements
7. Bachelor or high, major in Automotive Engineering, or relative major
8. Knowledge of a typical automotive product development process, including specifics such as FMEA, DVP&R and PSW
Experience:
1. More than 5 years relative work experience, understanding of an automotive electrical and electronic distribution system
2. Ability to resolve problem alone, high creative mind
3. Well team leader’s skills
