Job Description:

·Act as key person in defining technology roadmap by close cooperation with Global Program Managers, Technology Manager and R&D team; in the meanwhile, co-defining product roadmaps in close cooperation with Business Marketing, Global Program Managers and Technology Manager

·Responsible for the overall-design of system architecture to the level that it can be realized by project teams and defines the architecture in modular, easy-to maintain and extendible subsystems.

·Ensure the consistency and efficient integration of the subsystems in modular, easy-to-maintain and extendible solutions that can meet future product specifications.

·Responsible for architectural aspects of verification of requirements to the overall system.

·Accountable for the definition and responsible for the deployment of platforms inside the roadmap.

·Makes use of existing subsystems as much as possible.

·Coach the team of System Engineers and support on hot issue solving.

·Advise other Architects (Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, Optical) on choices of what can be achieved.

·Scout, benchmark and bring new/emerging technology into our product design in order to improve the performance, lower the cost, and realize never-possible features.

·Advises on internal development or outsourcing.

·Has an important say in the choice of development environment and has ultimate responsibility for the top-level design.

· Member of PG (Product Group) for segment to secure that product lines meets TOP & Bottom Line as targeted in AOP.
