Role Summary/Purpose

The Engineering Manager position leads and executes product programs with cross-functional team leaders and individuals to meet customer requirements for product quality, cost, to ensure that new product development is done on-time, to right quality and cost.

Essential Responsibilities

·Lead a team to support digital health SW development technology planning, analysis and evaluation efforts for Mobile, cloud computing, BI & DW, Big data related technical projects to build advanced and innovational technical capabilities.
·Work closely with product leaders and P/L business stakeholders to help define digital health technical strategy to best meet internal & external customers’ needs .Close collaboration with business owners to transform high-level specifications into best-of-breed applications.
·Organize Charter activities; provide specification documentation for technologies ready project plans and other associated project documentation.
·Participate in architecture design, provide technical guidance, and provide suggestions on optimal ways to deploy related technologies.
·Manage and supervise Digital health all SW development program and adopt agile development approach, ensure delivery quality on time on budget
·develop team and talent, develop agile culture, build up digital health SW development capability, align with DH strategy

Qualifications/Requirements

Quality Specific Goals:

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

4. Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables

5. Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physics, or equivalent experience

2. 5 years relevant work experience

3. 3 years project management or direct or indirect people leadership experience U.S. (Country)

Specific Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Masters or PhD in Engineering or Physics

2. 7 years relevant industrial experience

3. Proven ability to work cross-functionally

4. Demonstrated project leadership and/or people management skills

5. Demonstrated supplier and manufacturing interface skills

6. Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate & inspire others

7. Excellent communication, influencing skills and ability to gain buy-in for initiatives

8. Proven LEAN skills

9. Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes

10. Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills

Desired Characteristics

·Must have strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
·Strong background in BI/Data warehousing principles, architecture and its application in large multi-terabyte environments.
·Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment stay motivated and flexible.
·Ability to work cross functionally to deliver appropriate resolution of technical, procedural, and operational issues.
·MS/BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
·3 to 7+ years of experience in data warehouse technologies and/or a back-end reporting systems.
·Team lead experience involving geographically dispersed teams
