Company background:
A US based garment trading company with offices in Shanghai, Suzhou, etc.

Responsibility:
1. Provide day-to-day operational direction to the merchandising staff to ensure customer orders are filled and delivered on time.
2. To work with factories to ensure full c/o and labor compliance
3. Monitor and ensure the quality and appropriateness of the customer’s production base to ensure the best value costing and quality of merchandise
4. Provide updated market information to customers in respect of style, fabrics, delivery and production capacity, etc.
5. Attend and participate in company operational meeting
6. Provide information of competitors’ activities within ability to access the market

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, Textiles, Apparel or relevant majors.
2. At least 6 years in Production, Merchandising, Manufacturing or Product Development experience with at least 1 year management experience. Japan market is a must
3. Excellent spoken and written Japanese and Mandarin Chinese. PC knowledge such as MS Excel, outlook and Word.
4. Good record of problem-solving, independent decision-making, setting and working to tight deadlines.
5. Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
