Role Summary/Purpose
As engagement manager to GE healthcare digital health team, your role is to significantly contribute to digital health commercial success in high-end hospital market. You will, together with the rest of the composite team (service delivery , Solution Architect, product team), be responsible for:
Essential Responsibilities
· Developing the sales funnel for ICM solution, and for leading customer engagements towards the most important opportunities necessary for reaching short and mid term sales targets, in close cooperation with HCS/HCIT sales and digital health product teams.
· Identifying industry and customer needs, influencers and decision makers where GE successfully can establish a bridge-head for long-term business, and for feeding back market insights to GE digitgal health Business Units
· Developing winning solution and value propositions for successful customer engagements, and sell & deliver via consultative approach based on these value propositions.
· In close cooperation with sales team in the regions, develop and promote customer-specific engagement topics and tactics, addressing the business needs of healthcare industry, and leading the completion solutions proposal comprising hardware, software and services from GE digital health as well as from 3rd party partners.
· Sell and deliver via consulting engagements and leverage on consulting engagements for identifying the relevant offerings for healthcare customers
Qualifications/Requirements
Proven track record of achieving results (6-10+ years)
in a professional services business focusing on the healthcare industry
Solid understanding of healthcare regulatory environments, value chains, major stakeholders, business models and business processes in the healthcare industry.
Proven experience from translating business needs into requirements on IT solutions and operations.
Generalist and sales profile, with an edge in business strategy
6+ year’s experience from management /IT consulting, sales/business development, in particular towards healthcare industry (nice to have).
Sales driven with a strong business mind-set.
Excellent Team working and Interpersonal skills applied on customer relations.
Consulting lead sales and Consultative selling capability
Strong track record in engaging with C-level at customers.
Expert in listening, scoping & translating customer issue into business opportunities. Familiar with multiple engagement models.
Creative in terms of ability to see and make things in a new or different way, capability of developing inspiration, innovation or insight.
Strong influencing skills. Strong presenter. Structured communicator.
Desired Characteristics
Proven track-record in strategy and IT consulting towards the healthcare Industry,. Experience in:
Strategy development and implementation
Business process re-engineering
IT architecting
Change management, in particular technology driven transformation
Financial literacy
Solution architecting (nice to have)
Solid capability to analyze financial KPIs at healthcare industry customers and explain how proposed solutions directly and indirectly influences these KPIs:
Ability to explain the drivers of shareholder value.
Advanced business case modeling skills.
Project & program management experience
Excellent Planning and Organization skills.
Change management exposure.
Willingness and proven capability to act as entrepreneur in a “start-up” environment.
Stakeholder management experience
