Role Summary/Purpose

As engagement manager to GE healthcare digital health team, this role is to significantly contribute to digital health commercial success in high-end hospital market. You will, together with the rest of the composite team (service delivery , Solution Architect, product team), be responsible for:

Essential Responsibilities

I. Capture opportunities … Pre-sales for hospital mobile solutions
a) Provide consulting service for customers to understand and clarify customer needs. Draft independently documented solution proposals for customer.
b) Bridge engineering teams and commercial teams. Collect customer needs and provide summarized inputs to engineering team, accompany sales forces to communicate with customers, e.g. presentation in front of customers, 3rd party organizations, partners, or events.
c) Develop business cases, product requirements, product structures and pricing model based on customer cases. Ensure every order / case meets internal and external goals and objectives.
d) Work as regional marketing leader to establish market positioning and go-to-market strategies and drive business growth
e) Grow and manage the networks with all GE available channels, including direct sales and the organizations, indirect management teams, GE contract dealers, at all level, e.g. L3/L2, L1/L0(PCB), Private(Go-Blue).

II. Implementation … Project manager for mobile solutions
a) Project manager for multiple hospital projects in parallel, e.g. mobile nursing, mobile doctor, mobile solutions for patients. Responsible for the pre-research at customer sites and own the implementation plans. Periodically report the progress of ongoing projects. Prevent, manage and mitigate possible risks.
b) Ensure all ongoing projects are on schedule, can meet both internal and external targets in terms of time, and quality. Connect customers, partners, and GE internal resources, to ensure the implementation of any mobile product can have the resources needed.
c) Support customers in their reviews, evaluations related to ongoing projects.
d) Manage the communication with 3rd parties, e.g. HIS provider, EMR supplier, to ensure the integration, interface development or any necessary development can hit the implementation target, especially complete on time.
e) Manage GE implementation teams or out-source implementation teams, applying Agile method, following GE procedures, compliance with all GE policies and requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Rich project management experience. Good on project implementation planning, time management, risk management.
• Strong communication skills
• Solid IT background, e.g. familiar with Java, Linux, Tomcat, HTML, Webservice, XML, ESB, and database (SQL programming, familiar with SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle).
• Healthcare IT implementation experience, e.g. HIS/EMR/PACS, have a certain level understanding of hospital IT architecture and procedures
• Understand healthcare protocols / standards, e.g. HL7, IHE, and CDA
• Can travel frequently, and able to work under high pressure

Desired Characteristics

• 3 years + Software development experience
• 1 year + Mobile application development experience (iOS, Android or WP)
• Healthcare IT commercial experience, e.g. pre-sales, customer project management.
• Experience in hospital clinical or IT department
• Experienced in multiple clinical specialties
• PMP certified is a plus
