POSITION SUMMARY
This role is to enhance MB and CG’s ability to achieve its business targets in Southern China. The availability of accurate and consistent market intelligence and business info will be critical to management to make strategic and operational decisions. Having the role to link to business performance with providing market situation through analyzing operation data and market information will enable such capability that allows accumulation of market knowledge and customer understanding.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is accountable for the following:
1) Work with various stakeholders to achieve lead generation objectives for southern china. Take ownership of managing lead generation contractor in southern china and drive results
2) Explore and establish on-going relationship with OEM partners, Work closely with IG, Spec Gas and MB stakeholders.
3) Implement Marketing MB and CG programs in Southern China, execute operational marketing plans and work closely with corporate marcom team. Include seminars, shows, new offering launch or re lanuch etc.
4) Collaborate with commercial team to collect market information for market study. (Competitors’ strategies, market shares, new offerings, retail outlets, pricing)
5) Manage the data collected from various programs and sources to evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy
6) Maintain and update intelligence on market development and trend through various channels
7) Develop new channels to market (e-business) etc
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education – College degree or University education, MBA is preferred (Focus on chemicals, material science and chemical engineering with business, marketing or statistic as 2nd degree)
2. At least 5 ~ 7 years of sales, marketing and basic financial analysis experience.
3. Experience in coordinating sales activities is required
4. Problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skill set
5. English listening and presentation abilities, Office skills are required
6. Strong business acumen, attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
7. Ability to work independently and thrive on new challenges
8. Self-motivated, proactive & energetic
9. Able to travel 20-30% of the time.
