- Responsible for the translation of System Requirements (based on System Application knowledge and deep X-ray component knowledge) into X-ray imaging component requirements
- Responsible for Architecture and Design during Product Development based on sound trade-off information
- Creation of design rules for platform technology
- Relationship management within GTC and Philips customers. Cross BIU and functions.
- Technical lead in advanced development and product development project teams

Job Requirements & Skills

Capability:
· Maintains own expertise and ensures / maintain / develop know-how and skills in the areas of system applications and physics
· Ensures that this know-how and skills are available
· Ensure timely introduction / understanding of new technology (via close cooperation with Advanced Development, Suppliers, Customers, etc.)
Customer Relations:
· Maintains good contacts with customers (coordination with Customer Programs, System Architecture and Advanced Development Departments) to secure sufficient understanding of customer applications and requirements.
· Cross BIU, departments and sites
· Maintains good contacts with the department employees, group leaders, segment teams and other interfaces
Organization / Project execution:
· Initiate and stimulate cooperation with other departments / groups within and outside GTC (specifically cross site / cross BIU)
· Part of the GTC Global System Architect Team
Skills:
· X-ray System, Component and Physics knowledge
· Patent creation
· Language: Chinese and fluent English
