Purpose:

This role is responsible for providing IT technical solutions, tools, supports and IT project management, and insuring projects are delivered within scope, budget and timelines.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

· Responsible for managing large IT projects from definition phases through to successful delivery.

· Project planning – prepare and maintain the project plan and time scales, control project time-scales, deliver on time.

· IT project budget management – control project costs, deliver within budget.

· Preparation of timely and accurate PMO reports.

· Recognize and manage differing skill sets, performance and conflicts.

· Risk Management – IT security, compliance, continuity plan.

· Change management.

· Test & training management.

· Implementation management.

· Resource management.

Customer / Supplier / Relationship Management

· Establish productive business relationships with all customers and suppliers as appropriate.

· Communication – contribute to the effective communication structure in place.

Daily Operations and Assets Management

· Participant in determining client computer (incl. peripheral) standard, policy, process, etc.

· Day to day support to IT data centre and local based end users.

· Manage IT data centre assets, from registration until decommission.

· Review/refine the process and standard on regular basis.

· Reconcile assets data with Finance on regular basis.

· Responsible for the IT technical solution design, implementation, maintenance and enhancement.

· Support on IT internal/external auditing.

· Manage the progress of multiple projects and prioritizes with respect to pre-determined timelines.

· Write and review IT SOPs and guidelines.

· Training the team members periodically.

Requirements for Position:

· Bachelor or above degree in computer science or related fields.

· 6-10 years of IT experience in technical solution design and delivery. 4+ years of IT infrastructure services & operations management experiences, large enterprise experiences is preferred.

· Strong ITIL knowledge, understand IT operational processes and methodology.

· Strong ability to manage multiple tasks to get job done in a timely manner.

· Strong experience in IT infrastructure integration, security, data centre management, pharmaceutical client auditing, network and remote access.

· Rich knowledge in IT governance and project management.

· Knowledge of Oracle database administration, SQL, PL/SQL.

· Budgeting and cost controlling skills.

· Knowledge of ICH GCP and China GCP is a plus.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills. Willingness and capability to encourage and support others to ensure the achievement of team goals.

· Fluent in English (verbal and written).

· Willingness and capability to take initiative and support others to resolve variety of IT technical issues.

· Mentor or train entry level staff or other department staffs for IT system usage.
