Job Description

Covance Job Title： Financial Accounting Supervisor

? Ensure accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger for China entities;

? Prepare reconciliation on Balance Sheet accounts and revenue related accounts in a timely manner and monitor the correction of errors in the following month;

? Involving to the month-end/Year end closing process in conjunction with Asia Pac Core Team and other finance teams across the globe;

? Prepare monthly and annual statutory financial reports in PRC GAAP;

? Timely submission against tight deadlines of quarterly & annual SEC schedules and various other internal and external reports;

? Involving to Asset Management and physical count on significant items periodically, joint stock take on lab inventories once a year;

? Preparation of monthly cash flow forecast to ensure adequate cash liquidity to meet business needs;

? Involving to billing and collection issues, to assist Finance Manager on lower Chinese DSOs maintaining.

? To prepare all tax returns monthly, quarterly and annually to meet government requested timelines;

? Liaison with external auditors for annual statutory audit and other ad hoc tax/financial audits, to ensure China entities get a clean report on financial accounts or whatever area audited;

In charge of the month, quarterly and year-end ledger close, statutory (including filing) and the income statement and balance sheet for Chinese legal entities;

-In charge of GAAP reconciliations, intercompany cross charges; and be willing to adopt hands-on role within the team;

Main Duties:

- Assist to finance manager on existing process improvements and streamlining to global policies and procedures;

-Assist to finance manager on monthly forecast preparation

Education:

Batchelor degree or above

Experience:

More than 4 years experience in general ledger accounting in line with both local and US GAAP;

Familiar with local tax and statutory requirements;

Familiar with SOX 404 requirements;

Has experience in using ERP;

Experience in US based company is a definitely advantage
