职位描述
Key accountabilities:
- Maintain & upgrade Welding Process Document in accordance to customer and quality requirement.
- Follow up implementation of welding process and maintain evaluation report.
- Continuous improve process performance to attain high first-pass yield, lower production scrap and optimize labor utilization, process simplification, etc.
- Proficient in structural features of products and capacity of welding equipment.
- Provides problem-solving support to production team members.
- Provide manufacturing information and expertise to other departments and teams, such as Procurement, Quality Engineering, Production Teams, Finance to make improvements in: methods of manufac¬ture, material requirements and schedules, cost estimat¬ing/accounting, and product pricing that will ulti¬mately impact customer satisfaction.
- Provide Engineering expertise support to the manufacturing floor by coaching staff operating machines an work instruction.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering.
- At least 5 years working experience in welding fixture design function. (Has experience in valve industry is preferred).
- Proficient in ASME, AWS and EN standards.
- Proficient in welding standards and process.
- Proficient in automatic arc welding equipment.
- Skills in writing process instructions (routings)
- Demonstrated ability to use the PC, including the ability to operate spreadsheet and word processing software from a Windows environment and CAD/CAM.PRO/E, 3D software.
- Understanding Quality system requirements
- Familiarity with cost accounting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated skill in problem solving techniques, including team problem solving.
- Demonstrated oral and written English skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, quick leaner.
- Familiar with Lean and 6 Sigma is a plus.
