global automotive components producer is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer in Kunshan Suzhou.

As supplier quality engineer, you will be responsible for the establishment and implementation of procedures that support company goals and objectives for continuous improvement and cost and waste reduction.

Key responsibilities include:

• implement the GSCM supplier development strategies, establishing policies / procedures and initiatives to help improve the global supply base
• monitor supplier conformance to the company and customer requirements for ISO/TS 16949 conformance
• responsible for the coordination of the development of inspection techniques that correlate between the company and its supplier base
• responsible for the development and maintenance of systems and procedures to monitor and report supplier quality performance both internally and to various suppliers
• assist in internal the company quality audits to assure the company conformance to its documented quality systems

Key requirements include:

• engineering degree or the equivalent in experience is required
• minimum five years experience in quality, preferably in automotive manufacturing
• six sigma green belt is a plus
• experience with supplier assessment and audits, TS and or ISO audit certification desired
• fluent in written and spoken English

This is a global, innovative, engineering focused supplier of series production automotive components. Its focus is on components and systems for automotive power train and engine applications.
