Key areas of accountability (Please state the most important areas of accountability in your job, in rough order of importance. Please focus on the results that are expected from your job. It is the responsibility of the Customer service team to define the service tools and processes required to support the KM Service organization and their engineers with installation, corrective and preventive maintenance actions on the Philips MR scanners basing on a service-friendly environment.
Support is provided by means of electronic service documentation, diagnostic tools, FRU strategy, Helpdesk back-up, Engineer’s 'on-site' assistance and so on.
The Service Specialist contributes to these goals by continuous improvement of installability, serviceability, reliability and service costs while having a strong customer focus. A Service Specialist is typically responsible for a chain, a set of subsystems providing functionality within the MRI System. Examples are RF, Gradient and the Magnet.
The Service Specialist monitors performance of products within his/her chain. Based on parameters like replacement rates, service costs and downtime of the system, the system specialist initiates improvements in the maintenance teams. These improvements are changes with a significant impact.
Major Changes are typically run through development projects. The Service Specialist also participates in sub-teams of development projects. He/she is responsible to set service requirements based on performance and the CS roadmap. He/she plays a key role in identifying and fulfilling service requirements in the design team. The service specialist is able to inspire commitment of the team using facts and figures out of the field. He/She is furthermore responsible for creation of service documentation, tools and definition of FRU by cooperation with development and training by cooperation with the training centers.
At the same time the Service Specialist supports the service organization by helping to solve those product issues that cannot be solved by the helpdesk teams. He/she will typically use his/her technical experience and network within the development organization.

Typical Job responsibity include:
- Transform the VOC from service organization and customers to programs
- Responsibile for defining the service activities and coornidate with the service team to deliver the service documentations.
- Develop the service tools to meet the installation/serivce requirment.
- Design the service training plan and material.
- When applicable creation of Field Change Orders and Newsletters
- Define the spare parts based on reliability data
- Review and verify service functionality before product release
- System Performance Monitoring for installation base
- Participation in Component/Maintenance teams
- Support product and service life cycle management


Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above in engineering of biomedical, automation control, electrical, computer or equivalent
More than 5 years of experience in Service of MR systems or other equivalent medical imaging equipment in the clinical environment
Result driven, service oriented and proficient communication skills
Fluent English in Oral and writing
Organizational and analytical skills
Experience in serviceability design or service engineering preferred
Experience in project management preferred
