JOB TITLE: Engineer, Test (Industry Automation)

POSITION REPORTS TO: Team Leader

LOCATION: Dalian

Summary/ Scope of Position:
Performs intermediate-level testing. Responsible for writing and executing test plans and cases, designing and developing test tools, problem isolation and analysis, analyzing, prioritizing, and reporting code anomaly, white box and black box testing, Works with product management team to understand the customer intends on requirement and implement requirement analysis by taking advantage of industry automation experience.
The Software Test Engineer will work closely with Test Manager, the Development and Program Management teams to ensure the feature/product is compliant to design specifications, test results generation/compilation and reporting, interfacing with a number of other product teams across the company, etc

Responsibilities
Perform routine product testing, reporting on problems encountered and documenting test results for follow-up.
Demonstrates industry automation knowledge and understanding of software testing practices.
Continually expands knowledge of software development processes.
Should increasingly demonstrate skills in software programming
Researches situations and seeks input from subject matter experts to ensure fact-based recommendations and decisions are being made during all phases of product development.
Demonstrates accountability for completing work assignments; meeting commitments and deadlines.
Review of product requirements, software specifications, test plans and user documentation.
Create and maintains test cases, test programs, data and automation test programs.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineer, or equivalent work experience

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Industry Automation, Applications Engineering work, Technical Support, or other equivalent role.
Familiarity with industrial automation software products and hardware products are required.
Good written and spoken English Skill
Knowledge of VB.NET, C# programming language is expected
Must exhibit good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collectively in a team environment
Excellent technical and communication skills, works well with other teams, passionate about learning new skills and driving for results, strong problem solving skills and customer focus
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting Microsoft network protocols
