Position: Merchandiser

Reports to: Senior Merchandising Manager


Responsibilities

- Develop buying budgets and the merchandise selection of the designated lines for the shops in his/her designated area.

- Maintain up-to-date records for the stock receipts, stock holding, stock for sale etc. information for management’s review.

- Assign and refill merchandise for all shops and properly and sufficiently merchandised.

- Select and buy merchandise and coordinate necessary follow up with Italy on order confirmation, shipment and actual receipts of all merchandise.

- Coorrdinate with visual merchandising to ensure that all shops are presented to customers in line with the Company’s policy.

- Compile and submit all necessary sales, inventory, forecasts, budgets, etc. information as may be required by management from time to time.

- Provide product training to retail staff to ensure they possess good knowledge for each collection.


Requirements

- At least 5 years related working experience in retail industry, candidates with luxury retail working background is preferred.

- Good data analytical skill

- Good problem solving skill

- Effective communication both in English and Chinese

- Passion for fashion
