岗位职责:

GENERAL FUNCTION:

The SAP ABAP Developer provides technical design, development, implementation and support for Luxottica’s global SAP IS Retail solution. The incumbent will think proactively and provide value to the organization by contributing to the team’s goal of building a robust, scalable integration solution for our global IT initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

?Develop ABAP solutions following Luxottica coding standards per functional specification; modules include but not limited to reports (ALV and non-ALV), interfaces, scripting (Sapscript, Smartform and Adobe), objects (methods), and Enhancements (BADI, implicit and user exits)
?Operate within a multi-level and multi-client development environment with ECC, BI and CRM systems; utilize IDOC, PI and ALE knowledge to develop integrated solutions in this landscape
?Test modules for unit and regression tests with the ability to find required test data scenarios
?Write technical specifications for modules and processes used for effort estimates and objects development
?Meet development deadlines as part of regular solution releases, time critical production incidents or corporate initiative projects
?Use critical troubleshooting skills to find production incident cause and build-out solution proposal with execution plans
?Monitor production processes for issues; utilizing tools to monitor IDOC, PI and batch job based problems
?Performance tune existing ABAP modules using SAP tools and testing techniques
?Review and recommend changes to ABAP code for Luxottica standards and maximum performance

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

?SAP ABAP development experience in the areas of:
oABAP reports and interfaces using classic ABAP programming
oIdoc ALE
oABAP Objects including ALV
oWebdynpro
oABAP Proxy
oEnhancement Framework: CMOD, BADI, Enhancement points & spots
oSAPscript, Smartform, Adobe Forms
?Experience with SD, MM, FI modules
?Solid verbal and written communication skills
?Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
?Ability to work independently and meet set goals and deadlines

DESIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

?SAP IS-Retail experience
?SAP PI experience (PI 7.1 experience a plus)
?Mapping experience with ABAP, XSLT, and Java
?Configuring communication adapters such as proxy, SFTP, IDoc, RFC
?Experience in SOA, ESA and EAI Architecture concepts

EDUCATION:

?Bachelor’s degree in related field required
?Fluent with business level English both orally and written

EXPERIENCE:

?Minimum 3 years of SAP ABAP development experience
?Basic understanding of SAP integration technologies including ALE, NetWeaver Process Integration (PI)
?A clear and practical understanding and experience integrating technical services which support applications and users in the organization
?Experience communicating by phone and face-to-face with customers collecting requirements and implementation details, implementing solutions, and providing technical support
?Able to travel internationally as required
