SUMMARY OF JOB:

Actively participate in GCN(China-for-China) business project by providing engineering solution based on standard Precesion Computer Room Air Conditioning Equipment (CRAC) of Schneider or designing new cooling product, Accessories for Data Center; qualifying sourced products per Marketing and Sales plans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Communicate with China-for-China Product Management to finalize design requirements along with sales project.
• Cooling system concept generation, selection in pre-order phase and detail design, including Air, Refrigerant and Chill Water System in post-order phase.
• Cooling components definition and selection.
• Generate test plan for common/specific component qualification, system verification and validation.
• Lead Prototype Build and Test with lab resource.
• Test data analysis & summary, and present reports.
• Develop design documentation, including Drawing, BOM, System Architecture, Product Specification, Functional Spec, WCA, DFMEA and etc.
• Development Database management and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and logistical issues.
• Support aggressive product development schedules.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

• Factory support and mass production quality issue resolvent.
• Marketing support and Customer site visit.
• Support to resolve field issue.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION – MINIMUN REQUIRED LEVEL:

• Bachelor Degree in Refrigeration, Cryogenics Engineering or equivalent, advanced degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED:

• 5+ years experience of refrigerant system design for HVAC products.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1 – REQUIRED:

• Knowledge of HVAC technology, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Creative problems-solving and diagnostic/troubleshooting abilities.
• DOE Test Design.
• Familiar with CRAC Product/Key Cooling Components manufacture process.
• Very good team work and minial supervision.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 2 – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

• Knowledge of laboratory data analysis software such as Labview.
• Good Presentation Skill.
• Good knowledge of the Solidworks CAE system.

TRAVEL:

• Domestic travel as needed

OTHER KEY CONSIDERATIONS:

• Very Good communication and technical writing ability in Englsih.
