职位描述

Purpose of this form: A clear & complete job description helps your current staff to be aware of their business target and also enables HR Department to find the candidate accurately based on your needs.


Responsible for: Various test stations, includes chipset level programming, PCBA level functional test and product level functional test.


PURPOSE OF THE JOB

1. New projects: follow new testing means (including product and PCBA level) from design specification and test strategy to manufacturing ramp-up.

2. Ensure performance of testing equipment in term of quality, accuracy and reliability.

3. Pilot appropriate and cost effective testing equipment.

4. Be responsible of the execution of the CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) related with testing methodology.


REGULAR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. New projects: follow new testing means (including product and PCBA level)from design specification and test strategy to manufacturing ramp-up.

· Closely work with Local and world wide R&D team, define test strategy and test specification.

· Test investment evaluation.

· Perform DFT according to test strategy.

· Propose the product architecture according to manufacturability and testability.

· Participate to the choice of subcontractor.

· Pilot & follow subcontractor planning of test equipment

· Help subcontractor whenever necessary

· Ensure commissioning of test equipment according to specification


2. Ensure performance of testing equipment in term of quality, accuracy and reliability

· Define test equipment specification and qualification plan.

· Qualify the test means before shipping or in the plant.

· Pilot action plans linked to test equipment.


3. Pilot appropriate and cost effective testing equipment.

· Strongly control the budget and creative ideas for cost reduction.


4. Be responsible of the execution of the CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) related with testing methodology.

· Be responsible for trouble shooting of any possible improvements of testing methodology and means.

· Be responsible for the CIP of test strategy and methodology.


SPECIFIC ISSUES: Such as work base, frequency of travelling, etc.

· English and Chinese speaking environment. Multicultural context (frequent contacts with other industrial teams in Southeast Asia, Europe….).

· Periodical travels in Schneider China and to overseas.


KEY INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

1. Industrialization mamager Line reporting(N+2)

2. Industrialization Electronics Team Leader Line reporting(N+1)

3. Local and world wide R&D team: Close work with R&D team.

4. Industrialization project leader: Team member of IPL organization.

5. Process engineer Close teamwork to ensure the testing means in line with process architecture.

6. Quality Engineer Close teamwork to ensure the targeted performance of the testing means.

7. Manufacturing plant: Close teamwork to ensure the appropriate realization and use of testing means


KEY EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

With whom, to resolve what problems, with what responsibility?

1. Subcontractors: Technical Support of subcontractor, planning follow-up, on-site commissioning of equipment.

2. Corporate,BU& Zone counter part: In sure all methodology in line with corporate strategy and share between different team.


REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Compulsory: graduate with a major in automation and electronics. Studies or experience in electro technology.

Ideal: Specialization in the field of EE knowledge.


REQUIREMENT OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

· 5-6 years experience in industrial field within company in the field of automation electronics (like PLC,HMI, Drives or equivalent products).

· Strong individual capacities in terms of: problem solving, leadership and commutation skills…


OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Such as age, language, computer skills, etc.

Language: Good English and Fluent Mandarin.

Computer: Knowledge of office automation

Test engineer is responsible for the most critical and technological part of the industrial business with strong impact to quality/cost/delivery of products. A high technical level is required for this position.
