Summary of the Job:
Actively participate as key team member on Rack Team designing Rack System products and/or Accessories for Data Center Environments, over-seeing rack projects, and qualifying sourced products per marketing plans.
　
Regular Responsibilities:
• Develop design documentation, including engineering drawings and Bills Of Materials for the release of mechanical assemblies, sub assemblies and components including sheet metal, plastics, and accessories for Rack System.
• Use Solidworks and Database Management tools for new product development.
• Build and test prototype and qualification level assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and logistical issues.
• Assist in component selection and qualification for various parts being used on NPD programs.
　
Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, advanced degree preferred
• 3+ years experience of Rack/Cabinet design and drafting.
• Good communication and technical writing ability in English.
• Know well the sheetmetal parts manufacturing process.
• Proficient in Solidworks to create the 3d models and 2d drawings.
• Knowledge of the tolerance analysis.
• Creative problems-solving and diagnostic/troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of Rack System for data center application .
• Quick Response for the aggressive product development schedules
• Good team work spirit.
• Work with minimal supervision.
