Responsibilities:

Development of firmware/software part of products according to project’s requirement and schedule. Autonomously manage firmware or cross function project or product maintenance, potential coordination with people in other site or external to company.

1. Embedded software development (Firmware/Software design, coding, design documentation, debugging, and defect analysis)

2. Investigation and definition for electronic, firmware and system architecture design

3. Product defect analysis from electronic view for customer issue.

4. Follow the design process and deliver the document on time and quality

5. Work with marketing people to propose answer to requirement and consolidate specification.

Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or above in Electrical Distribution, Automation & Control Products

2. 3+ years as firmware/electric engineer for real time system development

3. Generic discipline in software/computer science engineering with specialization in embedded firmware

4. Deep understanding of micro-processor such as ARM and real-time system, e.g. Vxworks

5. Programming language and methodologies – C/C++, OOAD applied to embedded firmware, UML modeling.

6. Programming experience and knowledge of Internet Protocol Cluster (TCP, UDP etc).

7. Ability to understand basic electronic circuit and programming experience of low layer driver ( EMAC etc) is preferred.

8. Experience of Industry Communication Protocol (IEC61850/EIP etc) is plus.

9. Experience of RTP programming based on Vxworks is plus.
