Summarize the purpose of this position
The purpose of this position is to act as project industrialization engineer in OCP projects to provide industrialization quality support for new product development, which shall contribute to ensuring the right quality level for new products mass production.


Responsibility

1. Work closely with project team (project leaders, industrialization team, R&D and Schneider Plant) and supplier, exactly follow Schneider PMP procedure, industrial strategy and rules, to identify, analyze and to define the quality control plan for C/SA (components&subassembly), product and process. Define and guarantee the quality target for C/SA and products, and no quality risk for project go to produce phase.
2. Involve in design RA (risk analysis) process (DFMEA & ESCQ &MCSV) at design phase . Review & consummate the technical spec with designer for electronic parts concerning to industrial rules and quality control. Working with tooling engineer to finish RA for tooling parts and define the CQCP for supplier & Schneider plant quality control purpose.
3. Lead PPEP process, work closely with project team, Schneider plant SQE and supplier to develop their mfg process for Schneider parts. Translate the spec to supplier, and make sure they fully understand the requirements and commit to deliver consistent quality parts to Schneider. Define necessary quality control & inspection for in process quality control and final quality control purpose. Follow Schneider PMP stage gates, evaluate, check and validate their implement of process, action & deliverable, and quality performance, lead mfg process final qualification base on the defined qualification plan. Make sure PPEP can be close before FG pilot run.
4. Base on the input from design, and the study on the mockups (DFx), organize risk analysis (such as PFMEA) meeting to identify and evaluate the potential risks from industrial (assembly, quality & safety, etc.) point of view at the earlier phase of design, find the chance of improvement at the begining. Define and follow up the actions to make sure all risk are identified and under control, poka-yoke design is implement for part, product and process. And help plant quality to build Process Quality Control Plan and implement the control on production line. Finalize PQCP (Product Quality Control Plan) according to Schneider PQCP template and transfer to plant quality.
5. Involve in assembly line and test design, implement and validate. Support assembly & test engineer to pre-qualify the line, test equipment and improvement, and do the final qualification during pilot run. Through quality data analysis to find the chance of improvement for process and equipment.
6. Support IPL to monitor the quality performance, and collect quality data in different stage such as MP and PP, and to point out the chance of improvement. Summarize quality report with defined action plan, and lead the action plan follow up and validate for each stage. Support IPL to finalize PPQP
7. and get it approved. Provide quality skill support to industrialization team for significant matter if necessary.
8. Good quality sense, and well know the principle and methodology of Quality Management & improvement. Essential knowledge on ISO QMS&EMS, RoHS and REACH regulation.
9. Good command of quality tools ( including but not limited to FMEA, SPC, MSA), and master in use of Minitab or such kind of software to conduct basic statistics analysis to find the trend/performance of quality data, and the chance for improvement.
10. Electrical/electronic mfg background with good experience on product & process quality, product test or failure analysis. Knowledge or experience on tooling and molding process is plus.
11. Have basic knowledge on EE component, circuit board &product, have the ability to read schematics and mechanical drawing. Well know the component and their mfg & test process such as transformer, TFT/STN LCD, membrane, FPC, Cable, and etc..
12. National Quality Professional Qualification Certificate is preferred.
