职位描述
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Purchasing of items under meat and seafood category, and develop/improve supplier resource for category sustainability in meeting continuous demand growth.
JOB SIZE: Provide quantitative data such as # of restaurants/markets, sales, budgets, etc. Indicate size of operations for which job is responsible. Indicate domestic/worldwide accountability.
About 50 items and 20 suppliers
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. pricing of all items by negotiation or bidding - 30%
2. supplier management by regular audit, business review and other routine meetings for business discussion -20%
3. industry know-how buildup - 10%
4. supply planning communication to support the store demand for both permanent and promo items - 10%
5. new supplier development for new item and regular items to ensure the supply capability - 10%
6. reporting to supervisor and purchasing board for contract renewal proposals and projects - 10%
7. data collection and maintenance required by SCM system, e.g. PB forms, AOP updates, Supplier licenses, etc -5%
8. Others -5%
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: SCM system, YLC, QA, R&D, Mkt
External: Suppliers
EDUCATION:
University graduate, major in food industry is a plus; computer skills in microsoft office applications, eg. EXCEL, PPT.
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):
At least 5 years experience in food related purchasing, with experience in multi-national company or meat and seafood industry is a plus
