Job Title: China Risk & Compliance Manager / Risk Management?
Report to: Managing Director
Matrix: Risk Manager Asia Pacific
Purpose of Job
? Being the head of China Risk & Compliance Function, accountable for efficient risk & compliance framework for all company business in China
? Develop a broad and proactive risk handling approach for company China which is well accepted and understood by the business stakeholders, ensuring risks are identified, assessed and high risks are treated at an early stage.
? Implement and oversee monitoring activities in a business oriented way, consistent across the different parts of the business. Secure and ensure that the business is run in a compliant way, according to company Group Policies, Standards and Rules but also in alignment with Chinese regulatory requirements.
? Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and gain trust.
Main Assignment:
? Drive a broad and proactive risk handling approach with the business stakeholders, creating risk awareness, risk resilience and risk handling in a consistent manner together with respective stakeholders.
? Support the development of the business in China with regards to identifying, assessing and treating of risks by using the Operational Risk Management Process & compliance frameworks.
? Create and develop company China's Risk Register.
? Supported by all stakeholders in China, ensure the business continuity plan is implemented in all business units in China.
? Integrate the Operational Risk Management Process into the business year cycle.
? Establish and implement an effective compliance process to ensure compliance with internal company and external legal demands
? Ensure the internal audit / investigation activates are executed in accordance with establish company Group Standards.
? Act as general insurance co-coordinator in China.
? The owner of the China Emergency Response Program and ensure that all business units in China follow the same structure (in accordance with company Group Standards) and base in which we can efficiently manage the emergency/crisis.
? Lead competence development and succession planning in risk areas in China.
