Job Description
Position: Product Engineer, Interior - IAC
Department: CEC
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities of the position:
1. Familiar with the APQP & PPAP procedure.
2. Be technical interface to supplier and customer
3. Lead to develop the interior parts from OTS to SOP
4. Main customer engineering contact for issue resolution
5. Follow the DV/PV plan and fix the DV/PV issue
6. Familiar with the injection tooling structure and process
7. Familiar with the spec process, for example vacuum forming/heats take/hot press/hand
wrapping/painting process/slush Etc are better.
Education and Background Requirements:
1. Experienced Engineer 3+ years. Automotive interior experience preferred.
2. Experienced interior part for example door trim/floor console/IP/Pillar
3. Mechanical Engineering back ground
4. Ability to be self starter…seeking help as needed
5. Work across cultures, languages (English), time barriers…good communication ability
6. Can travel several weeks in one month and work over time
7. Skillful in office software
